Join Oxford Net Zero’s Serviced Emissions Hub team for an in-person workshop on how client leadership can help advance credible progress on reaching net zero.
What are “serviced emissions”?
Serviced emissions are the greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) enabled by the advice or services offered by professional services providers (PSPs) such as consultancies, law firms, advertising and PR agencies. Recognising and addressing these emissions helps firms align their professional influence with global climate goals, which is why ONZ’s Serviced Emissions Hub team engages with PSPs in its work. PSPs are increasingly asking what part client-side procurement conditions and demand-side signals can play in achieving climate goals.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for professionals working in procurement, supplier engagement and sustainability who influence how their companies work with PSPs. It will include a short “Standards Masterclass” focusing on net-zero standards such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the Science Based Targets Initiative, delving into how serviced emissions are considered in these frameworks.
