Dr Siyu Feng
Researcher

Siyu Feng works as a Postdoctoral Research Associate on economic policies and incentives at CO2RE and as a Researcher at Oxford Net Zero. She holds a Ph.D and a M.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and a M.S in Financial Markets and Institutions from Justus Liebig University Giessen.

Siyu is an applied environmental economist with a focus on innovation and technological change. In her research, she uses quantitative methods and patents data to analyse interactions between innovation and energy transitions, especially the role of energy storage. At CO2RE, Siyu is particularly interested in the workings of innovation incentives and policy instruments to support Greenhouse Gas Removal.
