Youth Set the Agenda: Future of Food and Agriculture in the Race to Zero
Event date: November 17, 2020
From soil to store to plate, how can we build a sustainable, net zero food system that gives young people vocational opportunities and ensures that we are not left with a barren planet?
This event will serve in the truest spirit of dialogue, bringing together young regenerative farmers, and entrepreneurs in sustainable food and agriculture with executive level leaders in the food and beverage industry. Young people are signalling their desire for sustainable food options by acting in mass, drastically shifting their diets to lower their footprint within the options available to them. Meanwhile, young farmers are embracing regenerative practices and young entrepreneurs are developing sustainable business models for the industry; but they will need commitments from industry leaders to scale these solutions and shift the industry from an extractive to regenerative global model.
