Mikal Mast is the Interim Programme Manager at Oxford Net Zero and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the initiative. She is also the Hub Manager for CO2RE, based at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment.

Prior to joining Oxford Net Zero and CO2RE, Mikal served as project manager on PEAK Urban, a UKRI GCRF project based at COMPAS in the School of Anthropology. She has also managed EU and charity funded projects. Previously to taking on project management, she served in a number of communications and administrative roles at Oxford and the University of Glasgow. She holds a BA in History and French from Calvin College and an MA in Chinese Studies from the University of Arizona.
