The University of British Columbia received a #1 ranking by Times Higher Education for their climate action plan, which sets a target of 67% emissions reduction by 2020 and ultimately 100% reduction by 2050. UBC has also committed to supporting research on climate change solutions and offers students a number of channels to discuss the university’s sustainability efforts online and with in-person forums.
