Deadline 2020

Aug 31, 2020

Deadline 2020 outlines a path for all C40 cities to have a climate action plan by the end of 2020. There are 96 C40 cities, all of which have committed to taking radical climate action locally and collectively. Goals of the initiative include:

  • Increasing building energy efficiency
  • Reducing transport emissions
  • Boosting the supply of green energy in cities
  • Changing harmful consumption patterns

With a toolkit to support member cities, Deadline 2020 has also made its resources available to non-C40 cities.
