Stephanie Wang is the Policy Research and Engagement Officer for the St John’s College Meeting of Minds initiative. The initiative bridges the gap between academic research and real-world action by bringing together key decision-makers from politics and business to engage with pressing topics around net zero.
Beyond net zero, Stephanie’s research explores how scientific narratives influence policy frameworks in grassland geographies, particularly through examining the political ecology of conservation in Inner Mongolia and the interactions between environmental policy and local livelihoods.
Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford, and a BA (Honours) in International Development Studies from McGill University, Canada. Her work sits at the intersection of science and policy, with a focus on translating research insights into equitable, community-based action.
