Chigozie Nweke-Eze is a Postdoctoral Research Associate on Net Zero Aviation at Oxford Net Zero, within the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford. In this role, he critically assesses stakeholder and public perceptions of geologically-balanced fuels (GBFs), and their implications for climate justice and equity.

Prior to this role, Chigozie gained extensive research and practitioner experience in energy transition, natural resource governance and climate change, working as Research Associate at the University of Bonn and the Research Institute for Sustainability Potsdam, as well as Project Lead at the German Development Organization (GIZ) and the Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21) in Paris.

He holds an MA in Development Economics and International Studies from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and defended his Ph.D on Planning and Geographies of Large-scale Renewable Energy Projects at the Institute of Geography, University of Bonn.
